Metrikus Platform V4
Metrikus is a smart building platform empowering companies the ability to monitor their businesses in a way which we have never been able to before. Our platform at Metrikus not only leveraged this, but created completely new and innovative ways to measure a buildings health and wellbeing.
Discovery.
At Metrikus, our goal was to make buildings smarter, but empowering the user to use this smart data in day to day tasks. Creating software that is user friendly, whilst maintaining the complexity of smart data was an issue that often arose. Various companies managed multiple buildings, so the vast amounts of data needed to be easily manageable, easy to switch between which giving all the flexibility of an intuitive point of access.
Mapping & Research.
As the Lead UI/UX in this project, my main focus was mapping out a view that would be easily recognisable, easily learnt, but advanced enough for the user to feel engaged.
Multiple platforms were studied, broken down and mapped into various versions of a building view we deemed to be what we needed. This was user tested internally for months on end to bring us to our end design.
